Emergency Medical Technician- Paramedic (EMT-P) also called an Ambulance Technician is a healthcare professional who provides advanced emergency care to critically ill and injured patients. EMT’s are trained to respond quickly to people in critical situation and provide pre-hospital care to them. EMT-P are much more skilled to perform procedures such as administering advanced medications, starting IV line, providing advanced cardiovascular life support, advanced trauma life support etc. to the individuals in need.
